Covid-19 Protocol
NOW OFFERING IN-PERSON APPOINTMENTS!
At Companion Animal Hospital of Skokie, we are excited to start seeing in-person appointments again! We are also happy to announce that we are remodeling our hospital, which will help us better serve you and your furry family. Due to construction, in-person appointments will be limited at this time. Some appointments, including all technician appointments, will remain carside.
Our team members are taking every precaution to make our animal hospital a safe place for pets and people–and we need your help too! See below for how you can help make this transition as safe as possible for everyone.

HERE ARE THE STEPS WE NEED YOU TO FOLLOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF WHEN YOU Request an Appointment WITH US:
1. IF YOU ARE SICK, PLEASE RESCHEDULE
For your well-being and that of others, please reschedule your appointment if you are sick or experiencing any flu-like symptoms. In the case of a pet emergency, please call our hospital so we can help you figure out how to handle the situation in the safest and quickest way possible.
2. PLEASE WEAR A MASK
Masks are required to enter the hospital, regardless of vaccination status. Please wear a mask at all times when inside, or when interacting with our team members during carside appointments. If you do not have a mask, please let us know when you call and we can provide you with one.
3. CALL US FROM OUTSIDE
Once you arrive at our animal hospital, please call our front desk and our team will provide you with further instructions. We are currently allowing a max of two people inside at a time with their pet(s) and all technician appointments will remain as carside appointments to limit the number of people in the hospital. If you have a carside appointment, a team member will be right out to bring your pet inside. If you’re seeing us for a food or prescription pick-up, we will bring your items directly out to you.
4. HELP US STOP THE SPREAD OF HARMFUL GERMS
Please avoid handshakes or hugs with our team members. We know you missed us, and we missed you too! We will do our best to ensure everyone is safe and healthy during these unprecedented times. Our team members will be wearing masks and will sanitize the exam rooms and other areas of contact after each appointment. Please use the hand sanitizer provided and maintain a social distance from our team members as much as possible.
5. CONTACT US IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to maintain our COVID-19 protocols based on the most current CDC and local health department information. As always, our priority is to keep your pet happy and healthy. With these safety protocols in place, we can help keep our clients and our team healthy as well! If you have any questions about our protocols, please contact us at (847) 966-3080.
