Next, we will pre-medicate your pet with antibiotics and analgesics. Also, an IV catheter will be placed so we can administer fluids during their surgery. A veterinary technician will be standing by to monitor blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, and oxygen levels. Since minimizing risk is key for every surgery our doctors perform, we can assure you that your pet is in capable, loving hands.
Pain can have a severely negative impact on your pet’s recovery and overall health. Therefore, to reduce their pain as much as possible and encourage a smooth recovery, we offer various pain management options.
